Custom Built Screensavers

    Marathon Computer Press is proud to offer a custom screensaver development service to our customers.  Up to 50 pictures can be included in a screensaver that will run on all 32-bit Windows platforms.  A variety of transition effects can be added to order.  Auto-sizing and scaling to screen dimensions, or a static display is available.    

    Transition Effects & Features

    Available Effects & Features include:

    Slide Right, Left, Up, or Down
    Zoom Open, or Close
    Shutter Horizontal, or Vertical
    Wipe Horizontal, or Vertical
    Fingers Horizontal, or Vertical (each also offers a thin fingers option)
    Grid small or large
    Speckle, Weave, and Blocks
    Audio Files, Video Files and more.
    Several effects can be selected at runtime if desired, or restricted as desired.

    Demo Screensaver Number One:

    Galaxius - Made with Public Domain photos obtained from the NASA website.  Content is from the Hubble Space Telescope.

    The screen saver is stored in a Zip file.  To install - Unzip with Pkunzip/32 or Winzip.  Run the Galaxius Setup.Exe program to install.  You can then select runtime properties if desired from the screensaver panel.  This is a relatively large download - approx. 2.87MB, but is well worth the time.  Great photos, of a great space mission and it demos most of the capabilities with our screensavers.  Enjoy!

  Note: If you have taskbar "Auto Hide" selected in the Taskbar & Start Menu options it may affect the transition effects.  We recommend that you have a static task bar selection at the bottom of your desktop for proper operation of all of the transition effects.
